A Changing Landscape

Constructed in 1859 by the Guinness family, The Malt House is a building steeped in history, forming an integral part of the Grand Canal Docks heritage.

The building was originally built to operate as a grain store and continued to function as such until the late 20th century. In 1995, as part of a large scale urban renewal and regeneration project, the building was redeveloped to provide a mix of uses including a restaurant on the ground floor and a combination of office and residential accommodation on the upper floors.

Today, Grand Canal Dock has become one of Dublin’s most prestigious office locations and is home to a multitude of national and international companies such as; Google, Zalando, Mason Hayes and Curran, Accenture, S&P Global, Wix, LogMeIn and Airbnb.
